Shires Stables

Enter the barn and find the fabulous living room on the right hand side. The sitting area is nicely organised with two sofas, an armchair and a coffee table. There is free WIFI, TV, books, games, dvd’s and Bluetooth speaker. One sofa opens out to become a large double sofa bed, sleeping 2 extra people. (A small additional charge per person applies.)

The central fireplace is made from the original bricks from the stable floors and features a double sided log burner.

1. The dining table extends to accommodate your guests making this is a great area for socialising. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an electric range style cooker with a large hob, 2 ovens and a separate grill, ideal for catering for large groups.

Bedroom 1 – The downstairs bedroom features the original stable wall and has a large, marble en-suite. It has two large single beds that can be joined to make a huge emperor sized bed. There is large wooden wardrobe, full length mirror and hairdryer. There is a small step into the marble en-suite which has a jacuzzi bath, separate shower, hand basin and heated towel rail.

Downstairs there is also an additional bathroom with WC, hand basin and walk in shower. It is ideal for guests using the sofa bed or for convenience when you are enjoying the garden.

There are 3 bedrooms upstairs.

Bedroom 2 – This roomy bedroom has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes, full length mirror and hairdryer.

A special feature of this room is the balcony overlooking countryside. There is a table and chairs so that you can enjoy the peace and quiet while taking in the views.

The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a WC, a single wash basin, a full size bath tub with shower above and a heated towel rail.
This room also has a large, single fold away bed, ideal if you have 1 extra guest  (A small additional applies.)

Bedroom 3 – Across the landing you will find a spacious bedroom with French style, king sized bed, fitted wardrobes, full length mirror and hairdryer. This has an identical en-suite to bedroom 2.

Bedroom 4 – This has 2 cabin style. single beds and is accessed off the third bedroom, making it ideal as a family room or for a group of friends.

The front garden is gated and there is off road parking on the driveway for 4 or 5 cars.  There is an electric car charging point.

French doors open from the lounge onto the private rear patio and garden. There is a large circular table and a parasol. An additional table and chairs are around the side of the barn under the balcony, ideal to follow the sun or get out of the shade!

There is a coal BBQ (coal not supplied) and a range of utensils.
A path leads to the 6/7 person hot tub, which is in a secluded area at the end of the garden. There is a fold back cover for convenience and to provide additional screening.

Almost opposite the Shire Stables, just across the quiet country road, you will find the Hay Barn, Barley Barn and Cart Lodge. Here, you have access to a range of bicycles, which are free to use.

You will need to pay an additional damage deposit for this property payable on the day of arrival.
