Surrounded by nature, with its own private garden and hot tub, you can’t help but relax and breathe in the fresh country air when staying at this stunning property.  Designed to accommodate between 8 to 11 guests, the Shire Stables has a spacious open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, plus 4 bedrooms, 3 en-suites and a separate bathroom.

Once the stables for the Shire horses that worked the farmland, this barn has been rebuilt into a fantastically light, bright space where high ceilings, original beams and the brick fireplace meet feature lighting, marble and quality fittings.  And if that isn’t enough, take a dip in the hot tub overlooking the fields and enjoy the tanquility and star gazing at night.

A large wheelbarrow of logs is supplied for the wood-burner in cooler months, but there is also central heating.

Cars- There is off road parking on the driveway for 4 to 5 cars.  We now have an electric car charging point conveniently situated on the driveway, which is accessible through an app.

Rates are for 8 guests.  Additional guests on fold away or sofa beds are a one off additional fee of £120 per person for 3 nights/weekend.  Bedding, linen, bath sheets, hand towels,hot tub towels and bath robes are included in these prices.

Check In and Check Out – Check in is from 3pm.  Check out 10.30 am.  Mininum 3 night booking.  Or long weekend from 11am on Friday to 4pm on Sunday (charged at 3 night rate).  Discounts for bookings for 5 nights or more.  Please enquire.

Activities – Fancy some activities at the barn?  We can organise wine tasting with an Italian themed dinner, beauty treatments, waiters in the buff and karaoke machine.  Or a trip out for farm visits with goat petting, alpaca trekking and goat pilates!

Pets – This is a pet free barn, however we accept pets in the Hay Barn, Barley Barn and Cart Lodge, where we can also help with dog sitting and walking.

The Hay Barn has 3 bedrooms, all en-suite, and can accommodate between 6 and 9 guests.  Perfect for a relaxing break, get together with friends or family holiday, the sleeping accommodation can be configured to suit your needs.  With expansive views, private outdoor space, a stunning 6 person hot tub, generous living areas and a wrap around breakfast bar – you can’t help but fall in love with this barn.

Dogs are welcome downstairs, for just £8 per dog per day.  There is an enclosed rear garden.

Cart Lodge

The Cart Lodge at Jepcrack’s with private patio garden.  Optional private hot tub area.

With French influences, this one bedroom barn with private hot tub and seating area.  It is ideal for a discerning couple, friends or a small family of who are seeking a boutique retreat in the countryside.  The Cart Lodge’s beautiful and stylish interior won’t disappoint.

A lovingly curated space that has maximised the barn’s original beams.  The Cart Lodge is modest on the outside, yet you’ll discover an inviting open plan living, dining and kitchen area and a door that leads to an elegant bedroom with en-suite.  The barn is centrally heated and there is a wood burning stove for those chillier nights.

Our newly constructed private hot tub area can be added to the rental of this barn.  The 3 person hot tub is in a private, secluded area of the garden with views over farmland.   Set under a gorgeous pergola with louvred roof plus table and chairs, this area is great in winter as well as summer.  The hot tub has 2 loungers overlooking the fields and a seat and is powered by a series of high performance jets.  With fairy lights and bluetooth, it’s great for the evening as well as the day time.
